Wrapping up the year with 3 new releases

After Classroom is wrapping up the year with the release of some additional new features to make your academic experience more efficient than ever.

Students now have access to a “Q&A” section, where they can post questions and receive answers. This section is particularly useful because it is highly organized, and students can narrow down questions and answers according to their specific fields of study. Users would even be able to pose their inquiries simply as an image file, taken from his or her textbook and/or lecture notes. Answers can be uploaded in the same format, as well.

Recently made available to users of After Classroom is also the Forum. Starting up a forum can be instantaneous and easy to manoeuvre on After Classroom. The Forum feature on After Classroom has been changed up from the way typical forums traditionally operate, so that everyone will be able to join in on discussions with ease. Forum owners have the option of keeping their Forum private to select users, or to make their discussion topics public to all.

In addition, After Classroom has added a feature that gives students, teachers, and professors a versatile new way to collaborate on group projects, papers, presentations and the like. By using StudentProject, managing projects, whether big or small, can be made an effortless task. The feature allows users to keep track of task assignments as well as milestones made in their projects. Up to 40 GB of files can also be uploaded and shared within the group of collaborators. Most importantly, StudentProject is completely private and secure. The projects you manage are open only to the members of your project team.

After Classroom is your new way to learn from socializing

Socializing is a big aspect of student life, but it's often difficult to stay in touch with your friends and colleagues when you have tons of assignments and exams overcrowding your schedule. After Classroom is an interactive website that allows you to incorporate both the social and academic aspects of being a student, offering the best of both worlds. Through their endless array of features and programs, not only would you be able to connect with tons of people from different Elementary School, High Schools and post-secondary institutions, but you would also be able to put several learning resources to use in the process. Imagine that—a social networking website where one can improve their learning skills at the same time as they build social relationships. It’s probably every student’s dream.

Getting settled into a new year at college or university is not always easy, especially if you’re not living at home and even more so if you’re handling your own living expenses. And once classes are in full swing, it’s not so simple getting your hands on the most useful resources like past tests and exams for all your courses. With After Classroom, you can have a lot more hope finding solutions to many, if not all, of those problems. The website allows students to share and find past tests, exams, and project ideas for an extensive range of fields and majors. It’s also much easier to gather teammates to start up school projects of any magnitude, thanks to the website’s combined focus on social networking and academia.

Tutors, jobs, housing & meals, and up-to-date events can also be located via After Classroom. You are able to actively search for all these necessities by browsing through the categorized articles and postings on the site, and narrowing down the options that suit you best. It is not only efficient, but reliable, as well.

After Classroom provides new and upcoming learning tools to make the usually dreaded academic aspect of student life a little easier. One of the recent learning software made available on the site is the real time Text Editing, which can be used without any of those registration requirements. You can type up your any assignments or reports with this application, then immediately export the document onto your desktop in many different file formats, like PDF, HTML, and Microsoft Word document, among others. You can also share the document widely by creating a link to a read-only version of the document, all with the click of a button. Not to mention, you have the option of using the Chat box to connect with friends, colleagues or, most importantly, project partners while you type up your work!

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. There will be at least two more learning tools to be added on After Classroom before December, so be sure to keep an eye out for that under the Learning Tools section.

Your studying and socializing don’t have to be two separate things, and neither of them should become a burden on the other, not when there’s a comprehensive website like After Classroom to help you balance both sides of the university or college experience. If you’re interested in how it all works, head on over to www.afterclassroom.com or visit the After Classroom YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/afterclassroom . You’ll be grateful you did!
